MOORLACH CAMPAIGN UPDATE — Endorsement Roundup — November 3, 2016

The General Election is in a few days. Let me complete my voter’s guide with the final few open items on Orange County ballots, the County Supervisor’s race and the ballot measures.

This is followed by an election night party at the beautifully remodeled Newport Beach Country Club on PCH in Newport Beach. Attire is business casual.

The closer provides a Roundup of links to the other races and Propositions on your ballot.

ORANGE COUNTY SUPERVISOR

You now know my ground rules. With only the Orange County First Supervisorial District race left, my recommendation in this runoff is the incumbent,

NOTE: When I was the Orange County Treasurer-Tax Collector, I would grade
school bond measures. I required strong fiscal criteria, one being the establishment of a sinking fund. School districts need to set funds aside every year for future new building projects. They are not doing this. Consequently, I am opposed to adding new taxes on homeowners because of fiscal mismanagement.
